Hemiplegia is a condition, caused by a brain injury, that results in a varying degree of weakness, stiffness and lack of control in one side of the body, and affects up to one child in 1000.
We’re here to help you, your family and your child – from diagnosis and treatment to transitioning to adulthood and getting a job!

- Practical tips from parents on how to carry out some of the ordinary activities that can raise obstacles for children with hemiplegia.
- Support for your family, from benefits and financial help to connecting with other families like yours.
- Ideas and inspiration for sports and fitness activities.
- Guidance on getting your young person into work, aiding with their transition from school to adult life.
