Aldingbourne Country Centre

Service

Aldingbourne Country Centre is a rural day service providing a variety of vocational training opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We support people to develop skills, independence and gain transferable and practical skills through social enterprise. We promote people's well-being and self-esteem, enabling them to contribute meaningfully by delivering goods and services to the local community.

What we do:

  • The centre is free to access if you're visiting the Quarry Café and social enterprises. There is a small charge for day visitors to our Great Day Out and seasonal events. Support Services are purchased via the Local Authority or direct payments.
  • We are also an open community resource offering 'a Great Day Out' for all the family with an open farm, outdoor play area, mini golf, woodland walk, maze, and so much more. Visit our Quarry Café to enjoy local tea/coffee, homemade lunches and cakes.
  • We are based off the A27 between Chichester, Bognor, and Arundel, opposite the Fontwell Race Course. We are open to the public seven days a week, and we support our clients in participating in our services and developing work skills.
  • Practical work and life skills are developed through social enterprise groups such as catering, hospitality, horticulture, wood work, crafts and performing arts.
  • Staff are trained to meet individual support and communication needs, and we support young people in transitioning from education into the world of work.
