Independent Lives provides a range of support for families and carers of disabled children to enable them to lead full, active and independent lives. Our core work focuses on providing a Direct Payments support service.

What we do:

Direct Payments Support Service - trained advisers provide one-to-one support and home visits to help you manage your Direct Payment and recruit and manage Personal Assistants.
Information and Advice - trained advisers provide support, advice and information via phone, text and email.
Independent Payroll Service - administering your payroll, handling all procedures relating to tax, national insurance, sick pay, maternity pay, tax credits and student loans. The 4-weekly fee for this service is £22.50 (+ VAT).
Banking Administration Service - processing your Direct Payment through a dedicated bank account we set up for you and hold on your behalf. The 4-weekly fee for this service is £33.17 (+ VAT).
Recruitment Solutions - helping you to recruit Personal Assistants. The weekly fee for this service is £3.00.
